A few days ago, Dietmar Pohl met knifemaker Stoil Manchev at his workshop in Sofia. On his homeward journey from the Bulgarian capital, Pohl had 50 exclusively signed MK-10 Last Blood® Kydex® sheaths and photo prints in his luggage. A highlight for all MOVIE KNIFE fans.
The Bulgarian knifemaker and designer Stoil Manchev had the great privilege of designing a very special dagger for the final part "Last Blood". With its stainless Damascus steel blade and the exceptional handle design, which also allows a view of the exciting Damascus structure, this dagger is a real eye-catcher!
Manchev and Pohl both share a passion for knives and cinema, as well as the fact that they both exclusively designed the knives for the last part of the film series. In collaboration, the limited edition of Manchev's design, the Pohl Force MK-10 LAST BLOOD®, followed, limited to only 600 pieces worldwide.
Almost sold out, 50 pieces are now available with a Kydex® sheath exclusively signed by Stoil Manchev. The photo print included in the scope of delivery is also signed by Stoil Manchev and Dietmar Pohl and also shows the serial number of the individual dagger.
The MK-10 LAST BLOOD® is linked in a very special way to the five-part film series about the Vietnam veteran and are an exciting highlight for film knife collectors and movie enthusiasts.

2022 was a special year for designer Dietmar Pohl. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary, he was able to travel to the place where both the plot of the movie FIRST BLOOD began and his personal life story: Hope, British Columbia, Canada.
Welcomed by hundreds of loyal First Blood movie fans from around the world, he brought with him the prototype of the MK-9 Legacy with black G-10 handle scales and matching Kydex® sheath. The fans were enthusiastic about the combination with the modern and highly professional Kydex® sheath. In the end, the final decision was made in favor of the wonderful RADAR leather sheath with the traditional EZE-Lap diamond sharpener.
But many fans, who like Pohl also saw the advantages of Kydex® over leather, approached the designer and also wanted the original prototype version with black G-10 and Kydex® sheath. At that time, Pohl Force’s manufacturing partner Lionsteel had not yet delivered all 300 MK-9 Legacy in the G-10 version. So, designer Dietmar Pohl decided to make the last 100 pieces of the ongoing series the Hope Prototype Edition. The marking of the last serial numbers 201 of 300 to 300 of 300 was given the suffix HP, for HOPE PROTOTYPE.
The scope of delivery includes the MK-9 LEGACY - HOPE PROTOTYPE EDITION with numbered Kydex® sheath, an anniversary patch, eight lobby cards, a vintage flyer and a high-quality collector's bag.

18.03.2024 - PREPPER S.E.R.E. II - the new generation of the Pohl Force Prepper series!
With a blade length of less than 12 centimeters, it meets German weapons regulations and, with an overall length of 24.5 centimeters, is a compact workhorse for many applications! The sturdy 6 millimeter thick blade made of German Niolox steel provides the S.E.R.E. II with high edge retention, excellent abrasion resistance and good corrosion resistance.
The new hand guard with screwdriver and slotted hole now offers even more flexibility and safety. The new S.E.R.E. II is also equipped with a considerable cavity for Suvivial utensils in the handle. The flattened area at the end of the handle is designed for hammering and for lighting a firesteel. The very durable handle scales made of black G-10 are provided with the typical Pohl Force non-slip structure, the blade and the tang are matt blasted using the "Double Blast" process.
Extremely robust nylon and Kydex® with a considerable material thickness of 2.5 millimeters are the basis for a well thought-out and durable carrying system that fully meets the high demands placed on a tactical knife in practice.

The completely new Prepper generation is now focused on the needs of crew members of civilian and especially military aircraft. The term S.E.R.E. (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) refers to the ability to survive, evade, resist and escape. The Prepper S.E.R.E. II was developed with this application profile in mind.
Extremely sturdy G-10 in black and the surface blasted using the „Double Blast“ process are an exciting combination of the new PREPPER S.E.R.E. II.

The Kydex® sheath is equipped with the proven belt adapter made of extremely robust nylon, which is also removable. This allows the Prepper S.E.R.E. to be carried lower and therefore more comfortably. For the Kydex® sheath of the Prepper, we have also chosen the significantly thicker Kydex® material (2.5 millimeters) than is usually used for Kydex® sheaths. The result is a well thought-out and durable carry system that fully meets the high demands of practical use.
We are very happy about all the feedback we have received from enthusiastic users and collectors since the first knives were delivered last December. It is therefore not surprising that the majority of the limited edition of 250 knives have been sold or already pre-ordered.
