PLEASE NOTE:
What does "2S GRADE" mean?
The CNC-based production of the MK-8 and MK-9 CNC² series was a challenge. Especially due to the complex and very fine surface finish in the fascinating two-tone finish. The highest level of attention was required, from the machining of the individual parts to the assembly and handling of the finished knives.
The satin finish on the blades, which designer Dietmar Pohl had provided especially for the lighting crew in the film and which are not otherwise part of the tactical appearance of the Pohl Force Tactical Knives, was a particular focus of attention.
The satin finishing process is not a problem with a few pieces, but even more so with a large series. The grinding wheels for satin-finishing the lengthwise paths wear differently in a large number of pieces, which can result in different structures in the satin finish that look like shadows depending on the incidence of light.
A certain number of knives were therefore initially not released for sale because their finish did not meet the high quality criteria of a collector's item.
In addition to these structural irregularities in the satin finish parts (visible depending on the incidence of light), these knives may show minor scratches in the finish. In the photo gallery and in the video we have exemplarily shown some examples for illustration. A small laser-etched 2S logo marks these knives on the back of the blade.
Since the knives are otherwise technically flawless, however, they are cosmetic markings only, Pohl Force is now offering them at a special price.
The 2S knives are now available at a significantly reduced price with a 39% discount off the regular retail price. Delivery only with leather sheath, leg strap and certificate of authenticity. The number of pieces is limited. Delivery only while stocks last!
The MK-9 of the Pohl Force LAST BLOOD® CNC² Edition reflects knife designer Dietmar Pohl's decades of experience in developing of tactical knives.
The 23 centimeter long and 6-millimeter-thick spear point blade is designed for uncompromising durability. High corrosion resistance and reliable edge retention are provided by the proven 90Cr18MoV blade steel with a hardness of 57-58 Rockwell (HRC). The blasted and longitudinally satinfinished surfaces create an impressive two-tone finish on the massive spear point blade. The solid and continuously hardened full tang ends in a handle end, which can be used as a striking element. Special textured handle scales made of green canvas composite material, “Made in USA”, exactly matches the version shown in theThe MK-9 of the Pohl Force LAST BLOOD® CNC² Edition reflects knife designer Dietmar Pohl's decades of experience in develo movie.
The material is extremely robust and resistant to mechanical stress. Constant use gives the canvas composite a characterful worn look. A real eye-catcher is the stainless steel handguard, which is precisely machined from a solid block using CNC technology. A subhilt on the underside of the handle provides maximum control in handling and adds to the MK-9's distinctive appearance. The knife is equipped with a very highquality, brown leather sheath including leg strap. The scope of delivery includes an certificate of authenticity.
